Besucherrekord!

Dokumentarfilmpreis: Good night Nobody von Jacqueline Zünd

Horizonte-Filmpreis: Nach der Stille von Stephanie Bürger, Jule Ott

Publikumsfilmpreis: Tambien la lluvia - Und dann der Regen von Iciqar Bollain (Verleih: Piffl-Medien)

The fifth Fünf-Seen-Filmfestival

Midsummer, eleven days, eight screens; a film festival! With 107 films and 27 shorts films presented at 334 screenings the Fünf-Seen-Filmfestival has emerged to be the second largest Filmfestival in south Germany within the past five years.

Emphasis at this years festival go to feature films and documentaries from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, boosting the young film generation and the embracing of todays films in film history (retrospective) and also in the community, expanding the film horizon.

With 27 swiss film productions at this years festival, FSFF is the the leading festival carrying swiss films in Germany. Austria ranks third place with eight productions.
Most important, however, is the close connection of the audience to the filmmakers - and that, in one of the most charming sceneries of Germany. At all five lake districts we will transform the towns into cinemas, hold talks and discussion panels with the audience and most importantly enjoy and experience film. With the slogan „profound – undiscovered – sparkling“ the guests at the FSFF 2011 (in 2010 there were 10,000) can dive into a world of film, enriching their creative outlets.
