Calais, refugee camp. Nadim, an Afghan boy, lives with his family in the camp in the centre of the jungle to help his father with his shop. But Nadim has been keeping a secret: he is a bacha posh (a girl raised as a boy in Afghan culture). Nadim dreams of escaping and fighting for her freedom.
