"THE FIRE WITHIN" is an experimental short film that follows the relationship of a young couple who just lost their unborn child.
The couple must cope with the consequences of the miscarriage. After losing another child, the two live in different worlds. While Fin wants to solve the obvious problem and Paula loses herself in her suffering. She's not trying to get away with it at all, but doubts her future. Going back to your old life is no longer an option. She has to face the really difficult questions. What will the future bring for them? Will she ever be able to have children? Her old life now seems unimportant. It was always her dream to start a family.
